OLD SCHOOL DAY COMING SOON.

Get ready to take off the school atmosphere with the old school.

IS B.SC A FOUR YEARS PROGRAM (ARTICLE).

I have written many articles on education but found non passionate than this.
I'v been to different programs within the campus trying to keep myself busy, I over heard young, able and energised students in different occasions crying with passion and counting down over 7 years of their stay in the University, I was pushed by my conscience to visit the ICT where I saw some bright students trying to check their results, I took a style to glance through their business pretending I have no idea on how to check result on portal, I saw a result that shocked me, 400level student with a total CGPA of 4.2 hmmm!  in trying to look his face, my eyes move straight to his ID card💳 where i saw that his ID expired and currently reading spill over.
This is a student with no carry over.

I was trying to over look the above situation until when I saw the 2017/2018 academic calendar which encapsulated the both semesters from March to December with a two weeks break, I began to asked myself some questions: is this a Depo or are we trying to match up with the NDA calendar?

Now listen,
all my thoughts falls under a single direction which is "What is our bearing as a university?"

Without mincing words,
I expect to see a university where our calendar will be strictly adhered to, our resumption and the examination date will be adhered to.

I expect to see the management being on desk from 8am to 4pm.

I expect to see the lecturers working with their appointed time and day not a Saturday fixed classes.

I expect to see students obeying the school rules and regulations without a word.

I expect to see students graduating 🎓 their academic programs in due time.

I expect to see students dressing by the rules of the school.

I expect to see students being exposed for misconduct.

I expect to see not less than 70% of students passed a course.

I expect  to see mass number of ADSU students going for NYSC.

I expect to see students committing their time on studies not at the love garden.

I expect to see students having a good plastic chair in their rooms not the Tetfund chairs donated for studies.

I expect to see results being uploaded in short time.

Now I know Prof Kaletapwa can do it, yes only by the support of her staffs and students. God bless ADSU.

DECEPTION IN CAMPUS {©Vandi247}

Good day my good friends on campus,

Being a student in ADSU  and also a writer, I tend to write something on what I called "Deception in campus" I critically observed and analyzed the research I did few months ago after I visited about 7 different state universities which encapsulate KASU, PLASU, GSU, TSU, BASU, BSU and NSU.

The above mentioned are all state universities manage and funded by the state where it domiciled and also supported by Tetfund.

Early last month, I was having a chat with a friend at the ICT where he mentioned that "ADSU is the first state university in the northeast." I laughed and I said to him "what did you contributed or what are you contributing towards the development of the institution." there and then he remained dumb.

My dear friends, using the past to boost has nothing to do with the collapsing of the present, do you know that one of the cardinals of trending universities in this country is the attitude of the students?
We keep castigating the administrative system thinking that's the only pothole without realizing that the best weapon to change ADSU into a world class university is to change our attitudes.

I felt like crying when i carefully listen to the speech of the VC encouraging her students on the right things we knew for long but decided to go for the wrong.
I carefully walked around the 'A' block when i heard one of the security telling a student to take back a chair he's trying to bring out there and then this student felt Angry and said to the security "Baba karka dameni domin na gomnati ne banaka bane"
although I felt embarrassed because I'm sure this very student knows the right thing but he chose to do the wrong.
Lastly, I tend to resume school last semester a week after the school resumed, I went to the love garden and sat down, I realized that when I talk, I hear an echo of my voice.

It's highly time to fix our attitudes, our thoughts and imagination.

It's highly time we stop blaming the government and be a success from what you have.

It's highly time we stop blaming our lecturers for starting lectures late while we are yet to repent from late resumption.

It's highly time we stop pointing fingers on our friends as being the source of our failure.

It's highly time to realize and put forward to what you do.

It's highly time to realize that the ideology of you graduating with just Second class lower is a mediocrity thought and start pushing.

Thanks for reading and do have a good day friends.

SECURITIES AT WORK

we celebrate the securities for trying to make the school environment a safe for students to learn

A BRIFE HISTORY OF ADAMAWA STATE UNIVERSITY

Since 2002 when Adamawa State University,
Mubi was established, the Institution has been
striving to meet the stated goal of providing
“Education for Development”. However, the
University is concerned with its commitment to
the immediate environment, mindful of our
position as a tertiary Institution of learning with
universal responsibilities. We are therefore
working towards establishing a world class
University that addresses our local problems
within the context of intellectualism that is broad
based and international in outlook. We have
therefore defined our purpose, as a citadel of
learning geared towards achieving the ideals of
developing academic and professional abilities of
our staff and students, to give them competitive
advantage in an ever changing world. Our focus
is now geared towards Agriculture, which is the
main stay of our people and ICT which is the
future path to human development. Ours is a
commitment to development within the context
of present realities and the expectation of the
future. In this brief brochure we have attempted
to present some of the necessary information that
will be helpful in making informed decisions on
matters relating to our triple Information
Brochuremandate of Teaching, Research and
Community services. It gives you a brief on our
uniqueness as a very promising University located
in a serene, peaceful and accommodating
environment. Title Caption – Adamawa State
